Required knowledge

To successfully complete the measurement tasks, students need to possess knowledge of the
following fields:

• DC and AC models of transistors (Linear DC model of the bipolar transistor in active region, G-parameter model, H-parameter model, Hybrid Pi model);
• input and output characteristics of the bipolar transistor,
• transistors in switching mode.
