Required knowledge

To successfully complete the measurement tasks, students need to possess knowledge of the
following fields:

• linear system theory: modeling and properties of dynamical systems, especially first-order systems;
• basics of control theory: PID control, discrete time control;
• embedded real time systems;
• operation of PLCs.
